Looking Optimistic Towards the Future

Around the world, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector has experienced exponential growth in the past years. In Germany, ICT has become a key industry with the largest gross value added in comparison to the engineering, automobile and chemical industries. Besides being one of the largest ICT markets worldwide, the sector ranks second in Europe in terms of revenue and market share. According to a recent survey from the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media, BITKOM, four out of five ICT companies are optimistic towards the future and expect an overall growth in demand in the sector.
