Limousine Service: Taking a Taxi

Cabs are a comfortable way to get from airport or railway station to your final destination. They are recognizable by a yellow and black "Taxi"-sign.

Cabs are available at major traffic hubs like airports, railway stations or highly frequented inner-city spots. To order a cab for a specific trip at a certain time, it is advisable to contact a taxi company.

All cabs - or "taxis" - are equipped with taximeters. Tariffs differ between German towns and cities but are compulsory in the respective area. Usually, the bill will be combined from a basic fee and a kilometer-based additional amount. In many German cities, taxi companies can be contacted by dialling the area code and 19 4 10.
