The Euro: Many Countries, One Currency

Since 2001 the European currency "Euro" is the money to use in Germany. The new coins and notes have - without considerable disruptions - replaced the "German Mark". Thus, for trade and travel within twelve European Union countries, namely Germany, Belgium, Greece, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Finland  money exchange is no longer necessary.
